Our herd travels!
Beyond working on land, our animals have a natural inclination for people, and happily travel to some events. Both the donkey and the sheep thrive in company of people, enjoying being approached, fed, groomed and even milked. Bringing the herd is great way of establishing a connection with audiences on a diversity of topics, including sheep husbandry, regenerative agriculture practices in Northern New Mexico, animals contributions to their ecosystems, and more. We tailor the workshops to the audience, successfully engaging little ones on the wonders of wool and sheep, as well as working ranchers in sharing regenerative practices.
We came to this work because of our love for animals, and bringing this herd to different locations in Northern New Mexico is an exciting way to ignite that same passion in others' eyes.
School workshops and community events are favorites of ours. We can set up pretty much anywhere, for different lengths of time.
